A bit about Pulvertoft Flowers
Pulvertoft Flowers was established in Spring 2021 by me, Fiona Paxton. It acted as a distraction whilst my career was put on hold due to lockdown but quickly grew into a fledgling business, attending Farmers Markets, selling to local florists and holding workshops.
As the business grew I streamlined, grew more flowers and focussed on supplying florists and event organisers mostly for weddings. I enjoy growing a wide variety of beautiful cut flowers that inspire and excite florists. It is important that our farm is biodiverse, we grow many different flower crops, as this is an important part of growing sustainably.
Each season we trial new flowers and foliage varieties so we can offer an exciting plethora of colours, textures and shapes to work with weekly throughout the growing season from mid March to the end of September.
I enjoy spending time in nature, growing sustainably, and using my creativity within the business. We are members of the trade organisation Flowers from the Farm. The business now grows on just over an acre of outside space and a third of an acre in a glasshouse. This has allowed us to extend the growing season. In 2026 Ian Paxton joined the business, creating a small team working together to deliver beautiful flowers.
